A Little Digi...A Little Paper

Hurray!! I just got Photoshop 6.0! I have loved my 5.0, and hated to part with it, but on with the "new and improved!" I've been playing with a few digital kits. The girl and boy are from ArtChix, and digi kits from Christina Renee. The laces and flowers, and butterflies are my newest additions! __________________________________________

Did this with REAL paper! HEHE! I made this large collage for my friend and "Room Mom" of my classroom. It is in honor of her three boys. Hope she'll like it! I made a collage each year for my room mom. ____________________________________________

I am always thinking of things that inspire me to create. Here are my favorite nail polish colors. I love using these colors in projects too! I am never without my nails and toes polished. It just makes me feel good! My favs for the summer are light pinks, silver, and platinum. OPI has great silvery colors now! "Try on" nail color here!

Baubles, Beads, and Other Fun Things

I am so excited! Here are my copies of the novel of short stories by Susan Woodring, called Springtime on Mars. I designed the front and back covers! My name is mentioned in the front page, and there is a bio of me on the last page! Doing this was such a great experience. The company was just incredible!

I spent a half day soldering last weekend, and finished quite a few projects. I love soldering while watching junkie TV, such as all my favorite BRAVO reality shows!

I added a few colorful baubles to my necklace and charms...
I also spent some time designing for TweetyJill! Lots of fun projects coming...I am so excited!

I found a GREAT new magazine called Mary Jane's Farm this week, and I can't put it down! No, I don't live on a farm, but being a native Texan, I do love the beautiful countryside! I live in the middle of the Piney Woods of Texas and love the greenery all around. This magazine has gorgeous photos of food, decor, fashion, and crafts. It is for cowgirls and cowgirls at heart!Here are a few pictures from this issue that I love...

Happy Mother's Day!

Happy Mother's Day to everyone! My husband and two sons are taking me to The Wedding Singer "Broadway Musical," in Houston today and I am so excited! I know it is going to be great...Here are a few things my family gave me for Mother's Day!

I got this inspirational book from my mom!! It is an easy read, only took an hour. What a great read! I have always admired Maria Shriver.

And here are another pair of OKA b shoes that I just HAD to have!! I have way too many, but I just love them! These are white with a cool platinum flower. They are "spa" like shoes with really comfy bumps in them, and are so easy to clean (in the dishwasher!!) I have several of their styles and I wear them to teach school most days. I usually find a little something for me from me for Mother's Day, and here it is....another apron for my collection! I'd like to wear it as a dress!
